I really enjoyed it! I had tried to tape it the other night, and our power went out for an hour, right in the middle. I taped it last night, because we were out, and finally got to watch it tonight. I haven't seen the Samantha movie, but it's supposed to be on in two weeks, so I'll either tape it, or watch it then.
I really can't wait until my GD is old enough to understand the movies. She's just 3 1/2 right now, and is mostly into Disney films. I have the Samantha DVD, so I guess I better order Felicity, too.

I watched it this past weekend, and actually I really enjoyed it! I didn't by any means dislike the Samantha movie, but Felicity was a bit more to my liking. Maybe because it dealt with so much more of the actual history of the time, and the Colonial period is more interesting to me. In terms of the actual film, I thought the acting was excellent. Shalene (sp?) was fantastic as Felicity. The costumes were gorgeous! It's been 10 years or more since I've read the Felicity books, but I was happy that they left in my favourite parts, like Felicity politely refusing the tea. I'd forgotten that her grnadfather bought her Penny! Also, Ben was ADORABLE in this movie. I always liked his character in the books. The only part about the movie that I was surprised about was how small Elizabeth's part was, although, from what I remember of the books she didn't have a huge part in them, either. overall, I would say they improved on this one from the last Samantha movie. In fact, it was so cute I watched most of the movie again last night.
